Same here, I never pass on the gossip, but “keeping up” with news is very important!
I like that I’m typically pretty quiet and so people forget I’m around. Its not usually a good thing, but as a result I’ve been able to overhear lots of things from our higher ups. From their real personal feelings about other coworkers, to news from our latest clients, to their simple opinions about politics and the economy, investment tips, real estate tips….you name it! lol.
